Everything about our stay at Auberge Du Colombier was superb. The owner, Francois could not have been more charming and helpful in every regard and the same must also be said about the entire staff including Jeffrey,Caroline,Stephanie,Denis and even Omar, the hard working gardener. The pool, like everything else there is kept in pristine working order. Another secret about this place is the cuisine, as we observed it being a dining destination for discerning locals. Their Provencal beef dish, Daube is the best we've ever tasted in 25 years of dinning in the south of France. During a recent 2 week stay in the area we returned to the Colombier for our last 2 nights. Again, our compliments to the Chef du Maison. We will return. Denise Lee and Michael Millius
That we couldn't stay longer!

Immaculately clean, extremely friendly staff. The most exquisite food! The breakfast was as expected - a really excellent continental breakfast. The evening dinner service however was second to none - worth booking a table for dinner even if you are not staying at the auberge.
The room we had was a little tired - though only the bedroom as the bath and toilet were brand new. Could have just done with a lick of paint. The bedding immaculate. The only down for me was the lack of air conditioning though we were given a fan on request. These two small points though if addressed would elevate this auberge to a five star for me and to be honest this is reflected I think in the price. Good value for money.
